Bringing Light to Every Home, Brightening Every Community
Avaada Foundation is enabling clean energy access in rural and underserved communities through rooftop solar in schools, micro power plants, and solar street lighting. Reliable electricity improves education, safety, and livelihood opportunities while promoting sustainability. These renewable energy initiatives empower communities and drive inclusive, long-term growth.

Initiatives
Setting Up Avaada Solar Plants in Villages
The Avaada Foundation has been powering rural India with renewable energy by setting up a 225 kV solar power plant in Jayapur, the Prime Minister’s adopted village, successfully operating for over 10 years. We have also established a 25 kW solar project in Tawang (Arunachal Pradesh) and solar microgrids in Leh and Kargil (J&K), bringing reliable electricity to remote communities and transforming everyday life.
Solar Street Lights and Inverters for Communities
To improve safety, education, and livelihoods, we have installed solar streetlights across villages in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra, brightening evenings for thousands. In addition, solar inverters have been set up in schools and Community Development Centers to ensure uninterrupted learning and training, while a solar water heater in Karnataka promotes sustainable living for hostel students.
