Rediscovering Divine Connection: The Annual Pilgrimage to Mata Vaishno Devi

Each year, as I stand at the foot of the Trikoota Parvat, a wave of emotion washes over me. It’s an energy charged with devotion and a shared sense of purpose. It’s not just the anticipation of the uphill trek, or the breathtaking Himalaya; it’s the profound sense of gratitude that fills my heart – the privilege of receiving Mata’s divine ” बुलावा ” (call) every year. As the founder of @AvaadaGroup, I have the privilege of leading a remarkable team.  Every year, we embark on a sacred journey to Mata Vaishno Devi to not only nurture our souls but also fosters a unique bond within our corporate family. It’s more than a tradition –it’s a powerful way to reconnect with the spiritual force that guides all our actions. This is a testament of our core values, a celebration of gratitude, and a heartwarming reminder of the family we’ve built.

The concept of spirituality influencing business decisions might not resonate with everyone.  But consider the essence of Mata Vaishno Devi – the embodiment of Shakti, the feminine force of creation. That’s exactly what Avaada Group is all about – creating and making a positive impact on the world!

This reminds me of the tale of the five fingers. Each finger serves its unique purpose and may sometimes act independently, but when united, they become a powerful fist. In our daily life, amidst deadlines and targets, it’s easy to become isolated fingers, forgetting the collective strength we possess. The trek, the shared prayers, the unified chanting of जय माता दी– it all reminds us that we’re a team, a united force driven by a common purpose.

The annual yatra helps in washing away our worries, reforging our bond with the divine and reigniting the fire within. The mystical Aarti inside the shrine ignites a sense of self-realization and transfers our soul into आत्मशोधन | As the chanting of the Durga Saptshloki starts, a deep sense of peace and thankfulness washed over which reminder of life’s most important lessons: to be grateful and to find joy in every moment.

Which means that the formless energy of ‘Shailaputri’ and ‘Brahmacharini’ represents strength (Shakti), wisdom (Saraswati), and wealth (Lakshmi). These values include courage, purity, and growth, aiming for happiness and prosperity for everyone which is the ultimate aim of this cultural tour.

This year’s yatra was, as always, a deeply enriching experience. It revived our spirits and reignited our collective passion. And as I look forward to next year’s pilgrimage, I know it will continue to be a source of inspiration for myself and the entire team. After all, a strong connection with the supreme being is the foundation upon which any successful relationship and business is built.

Jai Mata Di!
