Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership: Lead and oversee all aspects of wind energy projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet safety, quality, and financial targets.
2. Team Management: Build and manage a team of skilled professionals, including project managers, engineers, and support staff, to effectively execute wind projects.
3. Site Selection: Identify suitable locations for wind energy projects, considering wind resources, environmental impact, and regulatory requirements.
4. Permitting and Compliance: Ensure that all projects comply with relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations and obtain the necessary permits.
5. Budget and Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, control costs, and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining quality and safety standards.
6. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to prevent project delays and unforeseen challenges.
7. Supply Chain Management: Oversee the procurement of materials and services required for wind projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
8. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure that projects meet performance and reliability standards.
9. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with various stakeholders, including landowners, local communities, and regulatory authorities.
10. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports on project progress, budget status, and safety records for senior management and regulatory purposes.
11. Environmental and Sustainability Focus: Incorporate sustainability and environmental best practices into project planning and execution.
12. Project Commissioning: Oversee the commissioning and testing of wind turbines and systems to ensure they operate efficiently and reliably.
13. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in project management processes, safety protocols, and operational efficiency.

 

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree/master’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
– Proven experience in managing wind energy projects, with a strongbackground in renewable energy or wind technology.
– Excellent project management skills, including budget management,scheduling, and risk assessment.
– Knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting processes, and safetystandards in the wind energy industry.
– Strong leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.
– An understanding of wind turbine technology and its operation is a plus.
– Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is desirable.
