Bowing with Reverence to the ‘Divya Shakti’ That Resides Within Us

सर्वस्वरूपे सर्वेशे सर्वशक्ति समन्विते।

भयेभ्यस्त्राहि नो देवि दुर्गे देवि नमोऽस्तु ते॥

As we celebrate Navratri, I feel deeply connected to the powerful significance of Shakti in our lives. She is not just a deity that we worship on an altar; she is the very energy that powers everything around us. Shakti is the ultimate reality, the source of all creation, and the force that drives the universe.

In her form as the Divine Mother, Shakti represents compassion, love, and strength. She nurtures life and guides us through the endless cycles of birth, death, and rebirth. These cycles go beyond our physical bodies, representing our constant journey toward spiritual awakening and self-discovery.

For those on a spiritual path, Shakti is seen as kundalini—a hidden energy inside all of us. This energy lies dormant at the base of the spine, waiting to be awakened through practices like yoga, meditation, and self-discipline. When awakened, this energy helps us realize that we are part of something much greater, a universal spirit that connects everything.

This year, the alignment of Ashtami and Navami holds special significance. The merging of these lunar days (Tithis) enhances the spiritual energy of Navratri, offering a unique time to deeply connect with the Divine Mother, Goddess Durga, and seek her blessings.

Fasting and praying during Navratri are not just rituals; they are meaningful acts of devotion that help us align with the cosmic energy of Shakti. When we do this, we open ourselves to her guidance, enabling us to overcome challenges and grow spiritually.

Let’s embrace the Shakti that exists both inside and around us. By recognizing her presence, we honor life itself. May we all strive to awaken this divine energy within us, using it to improve ourselves and contribute positively to the world.

On this Durgashtami, I’m reminded of the essential role women play in shaping the world. At Avaada Group , we are committed to this by ensuring that 51% of our workforce in Nagpur’s Super Factory are women. This isn’t just a target; it’s a vision where women are at the heart of our green energy mission. By empowering women, we empower communities and drive progress toward a sustainable future.

Wishing everyone strength and prosperity on this sacred day.

Om Shakti Om

Jai Mata Di!
