Qualification: Any Undergraduate/Post graduation (LLB/LLM degree will be preference)

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in Solar/Wind industry.

Roles and responsibility:

  • Managing land acquisition process for Solar/Wind power projects.
  • Well versed and self-updated with State reforms & laws.
  • Identification of landowners for the selecting, contacting and negotiation with the landowner for the private purchase.
  • Dealing with local villagers, Gram Panchayats etc for land acquisition and land clearance.
  • Execution of Land Agreement to sale / Sale deed / Lease deed / Rental agreements, Mutation approval from farmer name to company name etc
  • Land Mutation approval from Revenue Department from Farmer name to Company name.
  • Coordinate with Liaison with the Revenue offices like Gram Panchayat, Mamlatdar, Dy. Collector office for various permissions.
  • Record keeping of all data related to land purchased and legal matters with MIS.
  • Preparation and submission of application for getting the permission for land purchase and use of agriculture land for bonafide industrial purpose
  • Ensuring all the government permissions

Job Description:

  1. Overall responsibility for manufacturing activities in an integrated photovoltaic solar manufacturing factory
  2. Create and implement best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve business performance.
  • Ensure that manufacturing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets and which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market
  1. Evaluate the challenges faced by the business and take action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities
  2. Contribute to overall business strategy and annual budget process.
  3. Take ownership of the manufacturing policy, guidelines, and any associated documents
  • Take responsibility for creating a market overseas for Modules.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. 15–20 year experience in manufacturing environment (preferably solar, electronic components, automotive, white goods)
  2. Demonstrable experience of leading a manufacturing function with a proven track record in strategic manufacturing leadership delivering effective manufacturing strategies, policies, processes, and systems
  3. Ability to add value, reduce costs and make business improvements.
  4. Proven project management and build quality experience.
  5. Experience of operating and influencing at a strategic level
  6. Knowledge and technical understanding of photovoltaic processes, components, and manufacturing techniques
  7. Good man management skills

Role : Business Development : Open Access

Location : Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Noida, Raipur, Bhubaneswar

Job Description:

  • Should have good understanding of various clauses of PPAs and handled power procurement/sale transactions under Bilateral, Captive Structure for RE for Commercial & Industrial Consumers including power scheduling, billing, settlement of payments etc.
  • Should have experience of negotiation and signing of PPAs (renewable energy)
  • Should have independently handled the operations of PPAs and invoicing etc.
  • Responsible for analysing landed/capacity calculations.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and negotiation skills.
  • Should be updated with RE policies, Open Access regulations, RE Tariff trends etc.
  • Candidate should have knowledge of Power Sector Structure in India and its various stakeholders, Electricity Act, Electricity Rules, Policies, Power Procurement Guidelines etc.
  • Candidate should have prior experience of dealing with Discoms/Transco/SERCs/SLDCs of TN, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh.
  • Should have regulatory understanding to summarise orders given by of SERCs/ APTEL/CERC/High Courts/Supreme Court etc time to time wrt various stakeholders of the power sector
  • Should have experience to deal with Discoms, SLDCs, RLDCs, Transco, CTU/PGCIL etc. for Open Access clearance under Short, Medium and Long Term
  • Analyze complex problems, prepare MIS and various kinds of other reports
  • Extensive knowledge of the power market industry, particularly aspects related to generation, trans-mission, distribution, and fuel supply, as well as understanding key energy industry issues, including opportunities, threats and trends.
  • Ability to work as a team player and strive to deliver excellent customer services to both internal and external clients.

Skills/ Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering, MBA
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of related experience with Power Utility/ Power Generator/Power Trader or with Large Power Consumer
  • Basic understanding of electrical concepts like Generating Plants, Transmission Line, Power Substations, feeder etc
  • Ready to travel extensively
  • Good relationship and networking with Power sector stakeholders viz; Power Utilities, Developers, Power Traders, Power Exchange, SERCs, etc.
  • Sound ethical and business judgment while demonstrating creative problem solving and professional communications.
