Key Responsibilities:

•  Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and guidelines for materials used in renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of material suppliers to evaluate their quality management systems, manufacturing processes, and product quality.
• Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to establish quality requirements for materials and suppliers, including specifications, testing protocols, and acceptance criteria.
• Monitor and analyze material quality data to identify trends, deviations, and opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
• Work closely with engineering and project management teams to review material specifications, resolve quality issues, and ensure alignment with project requirements and timelines.
• Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on quality assurance procedures, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in cross-functional meetings and initiatives to drive continuous improvement in quality performance, cost efficiency, and sustainability.
• Maintain documentation and records related to material quality assurance activities, including inspection reports, supplier certifications, and quality control documentation.
• Serve as a point of contact for external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, certification bodies, and customers, regarding material quality issues and compliance matters.
• Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting material quality assurance in the renewable energy sector, and proactively incorporate relevant updates into company practices.


• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management, with a focus on material quality assurance in the renewable energy or related industry.
• Strong understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools, such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing.
• Knowledge of materials commonly used in renewable energy projects, including metals, composites, polymers, and electronic components.
• Experience in conducting supplier audits, quality inspections, and root cause analysis investigations.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive process improvements, and implement quality initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards applicable to material quality assurance in the renewable energy sector, such as IEC, UL, ASTM, and ANSI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Certification in quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor) is a plus.

Job Description

1.Drive funds raising (rupee as well foreign currency loans), funds management, forex management, financial closure and disbursements etc.
2.Pre-Financial Closure and Banking – Raising debt/equity, financial Closure, liaison with banks, disbursement requests, preparation of PIM, updating of PIM, forecasting future interests.
3.Manage all activities related to funding tie-up & financial closure, up to disbursement.
4.Post Financial Closure- Reviewing loan agreement, Investments / divestments, Prepare, Monitor, and ensure cash flows, fund flows, profitability statements, IRRs, payback periods, DSCR’s, projected profitability and other financial parameters / reports to analyse inflow / outflow of funds and profits/surplus resulting thereof”.
5.Project financing, working capital financing, management, and control.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for solar and wind projects, including EPC agreements, power purchase agreements (PPAs), and land lease agreements.
Ensure contracts align with legal requirements, industry standards, and specific considerations of renewable energy projects.

Legal Advisory for Renewable Energy Projects:
Provide legal guidance on project-specific issues, including regulatory compliance, permitting, environmental impact assessments, and contractual obligations.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and legal teams to address unique legal challenges in the renewable energy sector.

Commercial Compliance in Renewable Energy:
Monitor and ensure compliance with local and international laws, regulations, and industry standards relevant to renewable energy projects.
Work closely with project teams to integrate compliance considerations into commercial activities.

Taxation Management for Renewable Projects:
Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to develop and implement tax strategies for solar and wind projects.
Assess tax implications for renewable energy transactions and provide recommendations to optimize tax positions.

Regulatory Compliance in Renewable Energy:
Stay informed about changes in regulations affecting the renewable energy industry.
Develop and maintain compliance programs, policies, and procedures tailored to the unique regulatory landscape of the renewable energy sector.

Due Diligence for Renewable Transactions:
Conduct legal due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, or other strategic initiatives in the renewable energy space.
Provide insights and recommendations based on legal and compliance assessments specific to solar and wind projects.

Dispute Resolution in Renewable Projects:
Manage legal disputes related to renewable energy projects and collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary.
Work towards resolving disputes in a manner that aligns with the objectives of renewable energy initiatives.

Training and Awareness in Renewable Energy Compliance:
Conduct training sessions and awareness programs to educate internal teams on legal, taxation, and compliance matters specific to the renewable energy industry.
Promote a culture of compliance and ethical behavior in the context of renewable energy projects.
