Skills Required

* Proven working experience as Purchasing Manager
* Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
* Interest in market dynamics along with business sense
* Ability to gather and analyse data and to work with figures
* Solid judgement along with decision making skills

* Experience on capital equipment and raw materials both.
* Strong leadership capabilities
* BS degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration


*Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed
* Interview vendors and visit suppliers’ plants and distribution centers to examine and learn about products, services, and prices
*Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other information to determine reasonable prices
* Negotiate contracts on behalf of their organization
* Work out policies with suppliers, such as when products will be delivered
* Evaluate and monitor contracts to be sure that vendors and supplies comply with the terms and conditions of the contract and to determine need for changes
* Maintain and review records of items bought, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventories



  • Track & analyze peers’ performance for competitor analysis. Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps. Conduct comparable analysis and market research to support internal financial analysis.
  • Support management reviews with stakeholders for performance tracking against budget through reviews including commentary on financial as well as non-financial parameters.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts – quarterly, semi-annually and annually
  • Compile inputs for annual operating plan and target setting in consultation with business teams and translating them into budgeted sales/ P&L/ Balance sheet/ cash flows
  • Assist in other assignments as & when needed.
  • Assist in preparation of presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Hands on experience in business/ financial modelling.
  • Should provide support on business strategy.


Desired Candidate Profile:

  • 1 to 3 years of work experience with background of financial analysis
  • Educational Qualifications: MBA Finance / CA (CA with industrial experience candidates preferably) / master’s in management / Accounting / Finance / Business Analytics
  • Working knowledge of excel (incl. advance Excel) and other MS office packages like analyzing datasets MS Power BI, PPT Word Table & Charts
  • Understanding of valuation and financial statement and audit report
